The humongo cocks, the flying gizzum, the pink depths of ever expanding a-holes – no, the kink never flags in the comic books of Patrick Fillion. Particularly in his call-boy series Satisfaction Guaranteed, which, we are sad to report, comes to an end in this final issue.
“Satisfaction Guaranteed was always our most popular franchise,” says Fillion, who has created a dozen continuing comic titles for his Class Comics enterprise, many of them featuring the sci-fi adventures of heroes with outrageous, over-the-moon size humdingers.
“We went out of our way to throw everything we had into this farewell issue,” he adds.
Talk about going full throttle, this final comic features a kaleidescope of one major character after another getting his very erect comeuppance every which way to Sunday.
Charles Dickens would have approved, as each of the call boys tie up the loose ends of a very loose life.
And Oscar Wilde would have, at the very minimum, whooped and hollered as well. In fact, the bang-up Everybody Gets Banged finale follows the wonderful dictum Wilde placed in the mouth of that dizzy old dame Miss Prism: “The good end happily, and the bad unhappily. That is what Fiction means, my dear!”
Thus, all ends are upended and go a-wagging in the air. As the French Canadian Patrick Fillion might say, laissez les bon temps roulez.
Let those good times roll and roll and roll!
Patrick, who cites the culty TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer* as one of “my all-time big influences,” is always ready to squeeze in a fantasy figure — like his massively hung red devil character Diablo (below) — into the midst of even the most mundane situations … although mundane is not quite the word for the super-schlonged “real world” setting” that the Satisfaction Guaranteed Call Boy Agency is supposedly located in.

Its male madame, for instance, is one of Fillion’s most bizarre creations: the clown-faced Stephane (below), he of the diamond-shaped face markings and the disconcertingly overwrought body of Hercules. (Reminding us always of a ghastly, sexed-up John Wayne Gacy, who wore similar cringe-worthy clown makeup between hustler-boy murders.)
An image to haunt every boy’s dreams — something between nightmare and nocturnal emission — Fillion’s Mr. Madame vies with his equally outre insect-man Locust, a green hunk with delicate snail antennae and smooth, viscous skin. Locust for all his silken sliminess is a star in his own right and a popular sex partner in Fillion’s outer-space epics. Both Stephane and Locust manage somehow to be very hot, but equally, very, very disturbing!
Without question, Fillion has one of the boldest, most unfettered imaginations to ever work in homoerotic art.
Readers of these pages know that we never miss a chance to trumpet this artist’s latest work. We’ve featured numerous profiles and even a personal memoir written by Patrick, who, along with Glen Hanson and Josman, is one of our absolute favorites.
Alas, with the closing of the Satisfaction Guaranteed Call Boy Agency, somewhere in sunny seaside Sodom, we bid adieu to Kaissey, to Dario, to Nathan and Noah; to Mr Laburnum, Mr. Grudge, and in a bravura finish featuring a red-butt spanking, the mean but amazingly fit Stepdaddy Frank. Our sorrow is tempered only by the knowledge that Class Comics is certainly not going out of business!
There are plenty of meat-heavy studs where these call boys came from, and our Patrick will keep on keeping on (hooray!) We remain content that in the Fillion universe of the imagination, none of us will ever get a chance to catch our breath — or come up for air!

am i the only one who finds his cartoons really unappealing? Josman=hot…this is just far too cartoonish to me.
I just love Patrick’s artword. His boytoons - to me - are the sexiest I ever saw and the stories are fun-loaded and executed very well.
I hope we get to see wayyyy more!
Patrick Fillion’s ‘toons are great. Fun & hot. Fantastic & hot. Exciting & hot. Hot & hot. We are happy guys that Patrick does what he does.
Every comic I have from Class is cool, including SG4. Can’t say which issue or character I like best, ’cause they are all amazing, but Dane in this issue gets me goin’, a lot! And your pic of Patrick is hot, & he’s real!
Patrick’s work is fantastic. Keep it up! We need more of this stuff.
Patrick is brilliant, check out his other work on his website, definitely not “cartoonish”.
I too would like to see more of Josman. Patrick Fillion’s art is great, but it has it’s distinctly unique qualities which, quite frankly, soon stop interesting me.
Do you mean “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”?
I love this, they should make it into an animated series…
omg to hot total choclate sugar pop
