I like what I've seen of Butt Magazine; I love Stevie Nicks. She's a great role model for people with a queer vision. Go your own way, the road will be rocky, but you'll make it through.

The CD is nice, the DVD really makes the set. There's also a nice booklet with her notes about these songs that, together with the commentary, really fill in some pictures about her music. It was wonderfully enriching and a great 80s flashback.

It is DEFINITELY worth picking up.

how could you have written this post without even mentioning the group that Stevie Nicks was with when she did almost all of her best work?!?
for me and the group of hippie-bi-potsmoking-queer-radicals that i hung with and played with and screwed with back in those early days of polymorphous perversity from about 1974 to 1982, FLEETWOOD MAC was on our turntable as much as anybody else.
Christine McVie and Mick Fleetwood and John McVie and Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks were all amazing musicians and storytellers.
a post on Stevie is fine, but i wish you had at least mentioned the whole group.........there was something ineffably mysteriously sexual about the way they interacted, and their songs were easily as good as the songs Stevie wrote by herself.
(and thanks for the link to the video.........it actually brought tears to my eyes, for my long lost youth!)
