We just solved our summer reading list quandary.
Discreet Young Gentleman: All hell breaks loose when Dean Smith, Earl of Carwick, is tricked into being discovered in the company of Rob, a handsome male prostitute.
The Price of Temptation: Stephen Clair, the notorious Earl of St. Joseph, has a lover he can’t afford, a social calendar that’s out of control and a libido that rules his life.
Any questions?

Surprisingly, these were written by a woman.
How about Strings Attached, which was, in fact, written by a gay man (me) and has just been awarded (yesterday, as a matter of fact) ForeWord Magazine’s 2006 Book of the Year Award for Gay/Lesbian Fiction????
And me? Murder Most Gay, and arriving very soon, Night Patrol.
I read the Price of Temptation. It’s not great, but not bad. Very typical romance novel fare. I thought the pacing could have been better and, for the love of god…has he got a canteloup in his pants on the cover?!?
Wider than long is kinda freaky, no?
“Surprisingly, these were written by a woman.”
Malenfant, I think you’d be very surprised at how many women love (and write!) gay porn/erotica…
THANK YOU JULIA!! I know i love it!! Oh but don’t forget bi erotica, being with two men who want each other also. yummy

I think it’s great that traditional romance novels are featuring lead gay male characters. I don’t care if the books were written by female writers. My favorite short story of all time, “Brokeback Mountain”, was written by a woman.
I am a woman and I have been wilding with Night Charm for much longer than two years. This is because both with beautiful man and the flower of my passion I cannot remove myself! I return both day and night to drink this delicate nectar — the occurrence of men who desire for the body of another men.
To men of Night Charm: I EMBRACE YOUR BEAUTY.
What has begun as nothing more than adequate interest of the mind has now explode into my ultimate DESIRE.
I venture both toward the nipples and the buttocks when the two men of my fantasy collide. I, Tina, enmesh my body between them and shower them with the moistness that only my womanself may provide. Oh yes. Oh yes. We embrace and I am the fleshy sleeve which allows for the communication of the two mens that wish to deposit their love. Soft, so soft.
Who are the illustrators of the covers?
I read “Discreet Young Gentleman” and I enjoyed every minute of it. I like the historical setting, the mystery, and the final resolve. It could have been a bit longer and printed as an affortable Romance novel. But … as we know…. anything Gay is oversized and sells at a higher price. I hope she continues to better herself in next novel.
tom of findland wannabe covers lol
I read Discreet Young Gentleman and thought it was pretty well written. If you’re interested, check out my review at (link ). Although, be prepared — there are spoilers in my review. I’d recommend the book for a light, quick read.
I still find the blouses and the hair a bit of a worry though.

Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me!
