You men have just ruined sarcasm and irony, just like you ruined the word “gay” for the rest of us. Everything is a back-handed compliment or a cutting barb in disguise. No wonder our pundits get so confused. It’s just a game for you!

Irony should be used sparingly and only in polite company, and just like brunch and loafers worn with jeans, your culture has taken it too far.

Now if you really want a tit for tat, why don’t we see what happens when a gay person goes on an far-Right Republican web forum announcing rage and insults, as you have done here. We’ll see if folks there are any more polite than we have been to you. My guess is no. My guess is that they’ll use a lot less sarcastic humor and a lot more appeals to violence. My GUESS is that a site like WorldNetDaily would simply delete the abuser’s remarks – Nightcharm shows you far more restraint by actually letting you ramble on without being banned.

And you’ll note that nobody here has said you ought to be tortured or killed, which not a luxury gay folks have when we confront Conservatives. Yes, nearly each and every one of us has experienced that.

America being what it is, a good half of gay people grew up in conservative-leaning Christian households and actually identified with that life before they came out of the closet. We know you people FAR better than you know us.

If somebody crashed your party with hostility for everyone there, calling them all perverted creeps – yet insisted on hanging around for some sick reason – you wouldn’t entertain them politely. Nor do we want to entertain you here.

Lets face it; we’re irreconcilable. There’s nothing constructive that can come from this dialog; we can never choose to become straight and you will never choose to become tolerant. Now this has entirely stopped being fun as the novelty and humor wears off, and you remind us of the bitter, hateful people we intentionally quit talking to in high school.

How about you go find a straight porn site to troll from now on.
